Bolognese Pasta Bake

WHAT TO HAVE FOR DINNER TONIGHT

We went out last night, and had one too many cocktails. We’re not so bad today that it’s a takeaway pizza night, but even so we are craving carbs and simplicity.

Pasta bake is the tonic we need; it’s comforting, familiar and has a delicious, cheesy topping which I can’t get enough of.

As I say, this is a very simple recipe and you probably have your own version. However, if you only ever use Bolognese sauce with spaghetti, think about mixing it up a bit; I promise you will enjoy this.

I like using mushrooms in my Bolognese; it compliments the deep, earthy taste and means you can get away with using less meat. Better Breathing

Eating right is very important in maintaining good health. But did you know it can also help improve your Lung Health?   We had a pretty good group of people at our COPD support group meeting yesterday and we talked about nutrition. One of our members was talking about ways that she is able to cook foods that are low carbs and low fat.  She had found a gadget that she bought to turn vegetables into noodles.

I was able to find several of these on Amazon to help you prepare Healthy Snacks 

Salad shooter can slice or shred vegetables, fruits, and cheese for delicious salads, soups, tacos, pizzas, desserts, and much more. Would be great for shredding up Zucchini to use in the place of pasta.

I believe health and beauty go hand in hand!

If you are healthy it shows, it shows in your eyes.  It shows in the way you carry yourself.  It is very difficult to cover up being sick or not feeling well.  Have you ever looked into the eyes of someone that was ill or not feeling well?   Most of the time their eyes look sad, kind of droopy, even tearful.

Keep yourself well.  This time of year it is very important to stay warm.  If you are out in the weather, keep bundled up.  Make sure you have a warm coat, scarf, gloves even hat.
